WTF!

Sometimes I am amazed at how family treats one another.  While it's perfectly normal, healthy even, to have arguments with your family, it's a whole 'nother Oprah to threaten the life of another human being simply because they have a different opinion than you do.  In all of my almost 30 years of life, not once have I ever done this.  I may have day dreamed about it, but I've never acted on this fantasy.  Do you know why?  Because it is WRONG.  Nothing, short of someone threatening your children or your own life, makes this sort of behavior ok.  But to pull a butcher knife on your brother?  Because he refused to clean up the crap that YOU left lying around the house?  I don't care how pregnant you are, or how tired you are, it's still not ok.  I wanted for so long to actually be accepted into this family.  I take it back.  I have no desire to be accepted by this woman who rationalizes homicidal behavior because she doesn't think that she should ever have to take responsibility for herself.  I'm done.  You can take your bullshit "family" dynamic, and shove it up your very pregnant ass.
